Peter is probably the most dedicated big bass hunter on the east coast. He runs his Boston Whaler like a drill sergeant but there sure is a method to his madness. Whenever I get on his boat I know I have a real shot at something over 50 pounds. I really appreciate a guy that takes his fishing seriously. Half hearted well mannered civilised fishing trips are not half as much fun and rarely lead to wildly exiting hunts or the long stints of hysterical laughter that I’ve sometime experienced on Pete’s boat. It sure is no surprise that Pete finally shot the world record on october 7, 2005. Very little chance went into this one except for the fact that he was filming that particular dive! Stuff like that just doesn’t happen.
